Professional recognition, awards and development
ALPINE (Accredited Learning, Professional development and Innovation in Education) is the UHI institutional scheme for professional recognition of staff working in roles that relate to or involve supporting or leading learning and teaching.
ALPINE supports professional recognition opportunities that acknowledge the tertiary context that the university operates and celebrates the roles that positively impact student outcomes and experience across Further and Higher Education.
Some professional recognitions are awarded internally (Advance HE Fellowships) and others are awarded externally but are supported through mentoring, workshops, guidance and support.
