Biography

Eve Eadie is a Mental Health Nurse Lecturer, Professional Lead for the Undergraduate Mental Health Nursing Programme and Joint Lead for Practice Learning at the Centre for Rural Health Sciences. Eve has been a qualified Mental Health nurse for 8 years and has worked in acute admissions, alcohol and drug detox and most recently as a Primary Mental Health Worker in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services. Eve has been with the Centre for Rural Health Sciences now for almost 4 years with a keen interest in Quality Improvement.

Eve is a member of the Scottish Mental Health Nurse Academics Forum, and the Mental Health Nursing Forum Scotland. She is also a member of the National Strategic Group for Practice Learning, the Practice Assessment Document Group in Scotland and the Practice Education Leads Forum.

Research

Eve is currently working on a project relating to a Major Incident Simulation carried out by 3rd year student nurses. She is interested in all aspects of the research process including study design, data collection, data analysis and report writing. Eve has also been involved in a project evaluating the effect of being involved in an art project has on young people’s mental health.
